From the moment I picked up a brush, art has been a lifelong companion — a lens through which I interpret the world, connect with people, and rediscover myself. I am a mixed media artist working primarily with acrylics, soft pastels, and recycled materials, creating textured, vibrant, and emotionally resonant works inspired by the natural world and lived experiences.
A graduate of Rabindra Bharati University with a Diploma in Fine Arts, I have honed my craft over decades of dedicated practice, exhibitions, and teaching. My works are a celebration of color and energy — from layered abstracts to landscapes to folk art styles that pulse with the life of the seasons, all grounded in a strong foundation of technique and an instinct for storytelling through texture and tone.
I draw inspiration from nature — its colors, rhythms, and quiet strength — and translate those impressions onto canvas in bold, expressive ways. I love experimenting with material: combining acrylics with recycled paper, metal scraps, soft pastels, and organic textures to give each piece a distinct, tactile soul.
My art has been featured in multiple exhibitions and juried shows over the years, and while moments of external validation are deeply meaningful, what brings me the most joy is the simple, sacred process of creation.
I currently work out of my home studio in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and conduct Paint and Sip workshops, allowing participants to unwind and connect through creativity in a welcoming, judgment-free space. Whether mentoring a budding artist or collaborating in a group setting, I cherish every opportunity to share the transformative power of art.
